INTENSITY RE QUADRANTS (from CJW mail message of 15 December 1996) Although the major effect may have been turning the stim telescope off and on and resetting its voltage, one might as well report the back ground subtracted intensities for 92 msec exposures and stimulus 7V as we moved around the quadrants. No periscope or wedges were in the beam. Quad A (171A) 2369 DN Quad D (284A) 2868 DN Quad C (195A) 3017 DN Quad B (UV) 458 DN so down a factor of 6 from average of the three EUV channels and I'd guess the variation among them is mainly stim tel. For reference, 10V into the UV quadrant results in about 1900 DN so it may be that something like 12V would be a nice standard for this channel in the same manner that 7V is for the other three. Of course, when the Window goes on we'll be talking about a voltage much higher and exposure times that are longer.
