FILTER VISIBLE REJECTION

(from CJW mail message of 15 December 1996)

A set of data was taken on 12 December 1996 wherein each of the UV filters was put into the stimulus beam and, by a combination of adjusting the lamb voltage and exposure time, reasonable images were obtained. The light was falling on the 171 Å channel after being "disturbed" by the periscope and the stimulus telescope wedges. After boot-strapping from different pairs to different pairs the transmission is as shown below, which is then compared to the average at 5000 Å and 6000 Å as provided by ARC. The agreement is quite good.
